I
have been collaborating for a pitch that Marc Cullen has been working on. A
film noir short based on the photographer Weegee. Set in the them of ganstas
and whore houses I took some time today to design some rough ideas for some of
the mafia men and also the whores. I really enjoying pushing the body shapes
and I looked closely at an illustration whom I love called Achraf Amiri . I love his disgusting
figure work which takes body shape and completely distorts it. Something that I
think would work so well within animation.
