Hey blogging people!
I thought I would share some of the work that I have been doing by throwing some pics I took with Instagram.
Feel Free to follow me on elliotcrutchley.
It can be quite the wild ride.

Gesture Drawing - Slowly Getting into it
I found a couple of great videos on Youtube giving you the basics of gesture drawing which is a side of life drawing that I love and feel like I didn't do enough while I was at university. So I going to warm up each morning I have to myself doing a bunch of drawings. As I have limited paper at the moment I only did a handful. But I plan of doing 20/30 at a time.
This video is super inspiring
And here is some of my beginning attempts. I think i find doing female gesture can be quite easy but I find men a lot more challenging. So I want to try and find some good Male models online to work with.

I still have a way to go. But after doing this for a few more weeks I will improve a lot and learn more about the way to communicate gesture across in my drawings as I seem to find that I over use lines and need to slow down and think about the drawing more rather than just jumping into it.
