Land and Power Animation (Work in Progress)

So I have been working on a shot for Land and Power. It  has been a long time coming as getting pre-production for Patsy took priority. But I managed to sit down and work on this shot again. I did post some progress a while back and I got some feedback from the director.  As it was not going to be cut out the lines didn't need to be so thick as they used to be so I have gone through and made the lines thinner and the character more on model now that the final character design has been nailed. I am pleased with how this is progressing and I hope to get it fully finished soon.

Week 2 - Production - Animation (Land and Power)

After doing the test shot for Tim he gave me another shot to work on that is going to build up to a proper shot within the film. It involves the mother in profile digging. I have begun to rough it out. I used video reference to build up the key poses and sketched them out and worked out the rough skeleton.

From these sketches I filled it out in Flash and started to fill in the in-betweens.

I am pleased with the progress I have made so far. The next bit is to get her face the camera and wipe her brow then dig one more time. So it will ultimately go two digs, wipe brow and then one more dig.

Week 1 - Production - Land and Power

Here is one of the first shots I have animated for the project. I am now passing it on to Tim who is going to cut it out so it can be filmed.
